Description
CMT has chosen the 4 most popular Multi-Tool blades with the universal STARLOCK® attachment system for their 16-piece set. STARLOCK® enables extremely reliable and fast accessory changes in a record time of less than 3 seconds. It also guarantees a secure fit and therefore maximum power transfer. The result: up to around 35% faster performance depending on the accessory, noticeably improved precision and reduced noise.
This set includes 4 each of the following blades: OMM04, OMM06, OMM12 and OMM15.
Descriptions and applications of each blade are below:
OMM-04-34mm Precision Cut, Japan toothing for Wood
- FEATURES: High Carbon Steel (HCS) with “Japanese” double-row pattern, hardened teeth.
- MATERIAL: Saw blade for wood, timber, blockboard, chipboard.
- APPLICATION: Ground and side set teeth for precision, clean, quick cutting into soft wood and timber. This tooth pattern with its longer teeth allows you to start cutting from a precise point by standing the blade on its corner and lowering it into the wood.
OMM-06-68mm Precision Cut, Japan toothing for Wood
- FEATURES: High Carbon Steel (HCS) with “Japanese” double-row pattern, hardened teeth.
- MATERIAL: Saw blade for wood, timber, blockboard, chipboard.
- APPLICATION: Ground and side set teeth for precision, clean, quick cutting into soft wood and timber. This tooth pattern with its longer teeth allows you to start cutting from a precise point by standing the blade on its corner and lowering it into the wood. Ideal width for creating long flat horizontal cuts like: door jambs and skirting board.
OMM-12-32mm Plunge and Flush-Cut for Wood and Metal
- FEATURES: Bimetal with 8% Cobalt teeth.
- MATERIAL: Saw blade for wood, plasterboard, plastic, sheet metal, copper and aluminium pipes and profiles.
- APPLICATION: Flush cutting a nail, cutting copper pipes and aluminium profiles, plunge cutting in plasterboard.
OMM-15-45mm Plunge and Flush-Cut for Wood and Metal
- FEATURES: Bimetal with 8% Cobalt teeth.
- MATERIAL: Saw blade for wood, plasterboard, plastic, sheet metal, copper and aluminium pipes and profiles.
